Sherry Lyne Nalbone, 57, of Scranton made her way home to the heavens on Tuesday after a brief illness.
Born September 15, 1962 in Trenton NJ, she was the daughter of the late Sonny and Annette L. (Calla) Nalbone. She was employed by Marywood University as well as Chartwells Compass Group doing dining service at Marywood.
She leaves behind two loving daughters, Kori Calla Grogan, and spouse Patricia Patty Calla, and Kelly Grogan, along with a devoted son, Nicholas Grogan, all of Scranton. Her grandchildren, Cameron Grogan, Ann Marie Sconfienza and Elias Torres, Jr. will deeply miss their Nonni.
Also surviving, her sister, Francine Nalbone and brother, Jimmy Nalbone as well as her stepfather Kenny Serafine, all of Trenton, NJ. She will also be missed by her lifelong friend, Thomas Grogan, best friend and cousin, Lisa Wieger, her very special Aunt Patty Calla along with many others aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and a stupendous amount of friends.
Sherry loved and gave to all and never forgot a birthday. She traveled with many bags and you never knew what special treat she was going to pull out for you. She lived for her children and grandchildren who she always made sure they felt loved. She was a walking Saint on this earth and will be the guardian angel for all those she loved.
