Stanley Bell, 69, of Scranton, passed away at home on Sunday. Born in Scranton on January 27, 1956, Stanley was a proud graduate of Scranton Technical High School and spent his career as a dedicated truck driver for PA Bedding.
A lifelong Yankees fan and devoted follower of The Beatles, Stanley found joy in the simple pleasures—especially the great outdoors. He was a present and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle, known for his steady presence and generous spirit.
Stanley’s commitment to his community shone through his longtime involvement with North Scranton Little League, where he served not only as a volunteer but also as president, helping shape the lives of countless young athletes.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Williams Bell (2021), his sister Carmella Stawinsky, and his parents, Stanley Bell Sr. and Carmella Addesa Bell.
Stanley is survived by his three sons: Jeff and wife Candace of Scranton; Mike and wife Tricia of Jefferson Township; and Tim and wife Jennifer of Carbondale; two step-daughters: Jennifer Stalica and husband Mark of Scranton, and Becky Kulesa and husband Paul of Florida; six grandchildren: Olivia, Michael, Zachary, Timothy Brady, Cassie, and Lucas; two great-grandchildren; one cherished niece, Stacey Thomas; and numerous cousins who will remember him fondly.
Friends may call Thursday at Savino’s Traditional Funerals & Cremation Care, 157 S Main Ave, Scranton, from 4 to 6pm with a blessing service taking place at 6pm.
