Teresa "Tre" Veltri-Harris, 67, of Roaring Brook Twp., died Monday after being stricken at home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, John D. "Jack" Harris, in 2018.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Anna Kochis Veltri and the late John A. II, she obtained her bachelor's degree in special education from Marywood. She enjoyed the beach and traveling to Florida and, as an avid bowler, she ran the youth league at South Side Bowling Lanes in Scranton.
A loving daughter, wife, sister and aunt, she will be deeply missed. In the words that she used as her motto and would want people to live by - live, laugh, love.
Also surviving are her sisters, Paula Davies, Olyphant; Angela Veltri, Jessup; and Andrea Livingstone and husband, James, Hawley; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher Veltri and John Veltri III.
A blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Inurnment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
