Thomas Brown Obituary

Thomas Martin Brown, 71, of Dunmore, passed away Friday, Nov. 19 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former JoAnn Sibio.

Thomas was born Aug. 10, 1950, to the late Martin and Marjorie Bronson Brown. After graduation from Dunmore High School in 1968, where he played baseball all throughout school, he was drafted into the United States Army to serve in the Vietnam War until 1971. He also became an avid pool and card player, and loved bowing with his wife and son. Another big hobby of his was fishing and camping, and the time spent there with his family and friends were some of his favorite stories.

Thomas is survived by his son, Michael Brown; mother-in-law, Jane Sibio; sister, Deborah Brown; and nieces, Sherry Domozych and Kate O'Neill.

There are no services. Interment will be privately held in Cathedral Cemetery.
