Thomas “Pop” Boylan, 78, passed away at home Saturday afternoon surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, the former Patricia Warenda, and his daughter, Donna.
Born August 19, 1943, he was the son of the late Martin and Catherine Marion Boylan. He was an owner-operator truck driver who loved seeing the country from the big windshield.
He is survived by his son, Tom; daughter, Debbie; grandchildren, Amanda, Jacob, Zachary, and Desiree; great grandchildren, Bobby, Mya, and Leah; sisters, Pat, Mary, and Ann; and a brother, Marty.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care., 157 S. Main Ave., West Scranton. Carl J. Savino, Jr., Supervisor.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
