Wanda E. Blackledge Everly, 91, a former Scranton resident, died Saturday in Florida under hospice care.
Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Madesky.
She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Everly, Riverview, Fla.; and was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Blackledge Jr.
Wanda was the oldest surviving sibling of a large family and was a graduate of the former Taylor High School.
For many years she was employed as an executive secretary at United Gilsonite Labs (UGL) in Dunmore before retiring to Florida.
Also surviving are a daughter, Laura Brundage, Tampa, Fla.; a son, David Blackledge and wife, Genevieve, Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including Melissa Garbarino and husband, Anthony, Peckville.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Edward T. "Chip" Blackledge III.
A private family graveside funeral service will be held Thursday in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Scranton.
