William G. Biggs, 60, of Mayfield, passed away on Wednesday morning at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton. He is survived by his wife, the former Jennifer Strickland. The couple were married for 8 years.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late William and Barbara Smar Biggs. Prior to retirement he was a Taxidermist.
As an avid fisherman, hunter, and general outdoor enthusiast, William’s passion for nature is a defining characteristic that will forever be remembered by all who know him and have learned from him.
Also surviving is a son, William Biggs. Daughters, Melissa Biggs, Ashley, Amy and Amber. A grandchild, Talin. A brother, John Biggs and wife Kim. Sisters, Karen Biggs and Mariann Manning. Mother and father-in-law, Sue and Paul Czarnecki. A sister-in-law, Sharon Czarnecki. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. in Dunmore.
Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
