William J. “Bill” Fuller II, 40, Archbald, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Wednesday, June 9th.
Born in Scranton, son of Catherine “Foxy” Blasko Fuller, Scranton, and the late William J. Fuller, Sr., he was a graduate of West Scranton High School, Class of 1999, and attended Penn State University and Lackawanna College through the Act 120 program. He was a former police officer in both Blakely and Archbald boroughs, and had also been a Lackawanna County Deputy Sheriff. He was most recently employed as a federal prison guard at USP Canaan.
Bill’s son Billy was his pride and joy. He was his whole world. He found great joy teaching Billy to use meticulous detail in all life activities. He also loved to entertain his niece, Brooke Covington, and always treated her like a daughter of his own. Brooke never missed a family vacation with Bill, Amy, and Billy. Bill also enjoyed relaxing in his recliner with his chickie, Kenzy, a beautiful, energetic yellow lab that was the linchpin of the family. Bill was an avid hunter and will be deeply missed by his hunting partner of 15 years, Matty Brodoski. Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed helping everyone he possibly could. He was a Jack of All trades and could fix anything he set out to do. Bill will be most remembered for putting a smile on everyone’s face, his sense of humor was like no other. Everyone will miss all those snarky remarks and the laughs that came with them.
Also surviving is his loving fiancée of over 16 years, Amy Pratt and son, Billy J. Fuller III, Archbald; sister Brianna Fuller and her spouse Cassie, Frackville and nephew Aiden Fuller, Frackville; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 15th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Lucy’s Church, Scranton St., West Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. All those attending are asked to go directly to the church.
Friends may call Monday, June 14th from 4-7 p.m. at Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care, 157 South Main Ave., West Scranton. Carl J. Savino, Jr., Supervisor.
