Yolanda Villani Dangello, 97, of Scranton, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton. Her husband was the late Victor E. Villani who passed away in April 1968.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena Imbriani Bevilacqua and was a graduate of the former Central High School, Scranton. Prior to retirement, she worked as a bank teller and then at the Taylor Public Library. She was a member of St. Lucy’s Parish and its Altar and Rosary Society.
She enjoyed cooking Italian food and especially enjoyed Friday night pizza and dinners with her family and she liked to travel. She enjoyed life and a good laugh. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving is a daughter, Jill Penn and husband Charles, Scranton. A son, Vincent Villani and wife Dara, Scott Township. Grandchildren, Charles Penn and wife Janice. Kristen Rosser and husband Richard. Great grandchildren, Emily and Ryan Penn. Nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Antoinette Savinelli and Celia Castellano. Brothers, Sam, Mario and Joseph Bevilaqua.
Private services will be held at the convivence of the family.
Inurnment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
